SNO-BIRD SPECIALS 2010/2011

We know it is difficult making a decision of where to park or rent a cabin in the winter. We have taken a moment to outline our highlights in our park to help you make the decision if our paradise is the right place for you. We are a vacation and snowbird park only and currently have no full time residents except for our family and a full time employee. We want everyone to feel welcome here and give each spot lots of space so you do not feel you are parking in someone else’s back yard. Depending on available space, we may get Floridian Families on the weekends and Holidays. Your visiting families would feel comfortable and enjoy visiting you here.

-Activities: Lots of eating and dinners, fishing, swimming (all year round), sewing, quilting, volunteering for certain projects, glass fusing, blowing and etching, ceramics (pouring to glazing), painting, karaoke and entertainment, cards, bingo, floral arranging, day trips, canoeing, golf lessons and practice, shuffleboard, bocce ball and Themed weekends, etc.  Our staff runs the weekend programs which are open to all. A special Sno-bird team runs all the week programs.

Price: RV Camp Sites are only $350 per month (electricity is extra). The price is for 2 adults. Extra adults are $100 extra per month. There is a $50 surcharge for all those who don't have a functioning bathroom/shower and/or kitchen.

Monthly fully-furnished cabin rentals are also available for only $950 per month (plus gas and electric). See our cabin page for more details.

We also have several two bedroom mobile homes that are off campus.  These homes rent for $850/month (electricity is extra). Each home has a fenced in dog run - ideal for couples traveling with medium and large dogs.  Guest using these homes, have same access to park and activities as guest who live on the premise.

Visiting Sno-Bird Special:  For those who can not get away for a month or more, we are offering a short-term Sno-bird special.  Book 2 weeks and get the second week ½ price ($600/2 weeks).  Both weeks must be used at the same time.  Please place your reservation through the office only.

-We are a small and friendly park surrounded by forest, lake and wilderness. It is great for being away from the hustle and bustle and our lakefront dock provides the perfect location to watch nature while have a cocktail in the evening or coffee while the sun in rising in the morning. You can also walk through trails around our 35 acres and see a variety of wildlife .

-Location:  We are 10-30 minutes away from 5 Ocala National Springs to hike and swim. We are 5 minutes from a 40 mile Forest run “Centennial Trail” set up for ATVs, golf carts and motorcycles(each separate). We are 2-4 miles from grocery stores(Winn Dixie), Gas Stations, Restaurants, Pharmacy, Library, Senior Center, Hardware Store, Etc. We have a minimum of at least 15 restaurants within 15-20 minutes. State road 40 east takes you directly on Ormond Beach in 50 minutes. State road 40 west takes you to Silver Springs (concerts) and Wal*Mart in 20 minutes and Ocala in 30. Other Attractions: Golf Coast in 90 minutes, Gainesville in 45 and Orlando in under 2 hours.
